SEE ALSO...

XRCC4 Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects XRCC4 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). XRCC4 (G-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The x-ray repair cross-complementing (XRCC) proteins play a crucial role in the repair and maintenance of genetic stability following DNA damage, with XRCC4 serving as an essential accessory factor for DNA ligase IV. XRCC4 preferentially binds to DNA with nicks or broken ends, enhancing the ligase′s activity in joining DNA strands, which is vital for the repair of DNA double-strand breaks. Additionally, XRCC4 is involved in V(D)J recombination, a process critical for the development of T and B cells in the immune system. Defects in XRCC4 or other components of the DNA repair machinery can lead to severe immunodeficiencies due to the inability to properly rearrange immunoglobulin and T-cell receptor genes, highlighting the importance of XRCC4 in both DNA repair and immune function.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works. We performed whole cell lysates on HeLa cells and used this antibody at a 1 to 1000 dilution. At 3 minute exposure, we saw a faint band. There was no difference at 10 minute exposure. It works.
