    SEE ALSO...

X11γ Antibody (B-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects X11 gamma protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). X11γ (B-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. X11 gamma protein plays a crucial role in regulating β-Amyloid precursor protein (β-APP), a significant component of amyloid plaques found in Alzheimer′s disease patients. By binding to β-APP through its phosphotyrosine binding (PTB) domain, X11γ reduces cellular β-APP secretion and modulates processing pathways, thereby influencing β-APP internalization via the YENPTY motif. This interaction helps mitigate amyloid-beta peptide accumulation, which is implicated in neurodegeneration. Multiple splice variants of X11 have been identified, including X11α (Mint 1), X11β (Mint 2), and X11γ (Mint 3), each contributing to β-APP regulation and associated pathways.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with X11γ (B-6): sc-390819?

    Asked by: jenniferc
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
