    SEE ALSO...

Wig-1 Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Wig-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Wig-1 antibody (C-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Wig-1, also known as wild type p53-induced gene 1, plays a crucial role in cellular responses to stress and DNA damage, acting as a transcriptional regulator induced by tumor suppressor protein p53. Wig-1 contains a zinc finger motif and a putative nuclear localization signal, essential for nuclear function in influencing gene expression. Wig-1 (C-1) antibody helps researchers study this protein′s involvement in apoptosis regulation and cell cycle progression, making Wig-1 significant in tumor suppression mechanisms. Wig-1 expression increases in response to gamma irradiation, highlighting Wig-1′s role in cellular response to DNA damage and genomic integrity maintenance. Using Wig-1 monoclonal antibody (C-1) enables valuable insights into pathways regulated by Wig-1 and implications in cancer biology and therapeutic strategies.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398712 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
