Datasheets
  • WDR93 Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 43-70 near the N-terminus of WDR93 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of WDR93 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including equine
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP and m-IgG1 BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for WDR93 Antibody (A-4) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with WDR93 Antibody (A-4) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

WDR93 Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects WDR93 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). WDR93, or WD repeat-containing protein 93, is a 686 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of a single WD repeat, which is a structural motif known for mediating protein-protein interactions. WDR93 is crucial for various cellular processes, including chromatin assembly and signal transduction, which are essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating gene expression. The presence of WD repeats allows WDR93 to interact with a variety of other proteins, facilitating complex formation that is vital for cellular signaling pathways. WDR93 is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 15, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including Angelman syndrome and Prader-Willi syndrome, highlighting WDR93′s importance in both normal physiology and disease states. Anti-WDR93 antibody (A-4) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers investigating the functional roles of WDR93 in various biological contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393762 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
