    SEE ALSO...

WDR79 Antibody (1F12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects WDR79 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-WDR79 antibody (1F12) is available as the non-conjugated format. WDR79, also known as TCAB1 or WRAP53, is a crucial 548 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a significant role in the telomerase holoenzyme complex, a ribonucleoprotein complex essential for chromosome termini replication and telomere elongation in most eukaryotes. WDR79 is predominantly located in the nucleus, where WDR79 regulates telomerase localization to Cajal bodies, which are subnuclear structures important for ribonucleoprotein complex assembly. Proper functioning of WDR79 maintains telomere integrity, critical for cellular aging and stability. WDR79 also regulates p53 mRNA levels, contributing to cellular response to DNA damage. WD-repeats in WDR79, characterized by a conserved core structure, enable participation in various regulatory mechanisms, including chromatin assembly and signal transduction, highlighting WDR79′s importance in cellular homeostasis and stress response.

I am using WDR79 (1F12): sc-517078 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
