SEE ALSO...

WBP2 Antibody (D-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects WBP2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). WBP2 (D-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. WW domain-binding protein 2 (WBP2) is a 261 amino acid protein predominantly expressed in various tissues, playing a crucial role in cellular signaling and regulation. WBP2′s structure features a WW domain, which consists of 38 to 40 semi-conserved amino acids that facilitate protein-protein interactions by binding to polyproline ligands. This interaction is vital for the regulation of key signaling pathways, particularly those involving Yes-associated protein (YAP) and E3 ubiquitin ligases, which are implicated in processes such as cell proliferation and apoptosis. The gene encoding WBP2 is located on human chromosome 17, a region associated with several critical genes involved in tumor suppression and the pathogenesis of various cancers, including breast and ovarian cancer. Using anti-WBP2 antibody (D-12) in research can provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying these diseases and explore potential therapeutic targets.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514247 P appropriate for?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good antibodyI used this antibody for DuoLink PLA, and also for WB. For DuoLink PLA, it is very good. it is ok for WB at concentration of 1:500; however, there are 2 bands and it is hard to know which band is the right band, since I am doing siRNA. From siRNA WB, one band seems to have much lower in the intensity after the knockdown. I would assume that is the right band.
