WAVE2 Antibody (C-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects WAVE2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-WAVE2 antibody (C-6) is available as the non-conjugated form. WAVE2 plays a crucial role in actin cytoskeletal dynamics, which is essential for various cellular processes, including cell migration, shape changes, and membrane protrusion formation. WAVE2 is involved in activating the Arp2/3 complex, which promotes new actin filament nucleation, facilitating actin cytoskeleton reorganization in response to extracellular signals. This function is particularly important in immune cells, where WAVE2 helps regulate lamellipodia formation, enabling leukocytes to move toward infection or inflammation sites.
