    SEE ALSO...

VRK3 Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects VRK3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-VRK3 antibody (C-8) is available as the non-conjugated form. The vaccinia-related kinase 3 (VRK3) is a crucial nuclear protein composed of 474 amino acids and belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family, characterized by a single protein kinase domain. VRK3 plays a significant role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in regulating the activity of extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERKs). By directly binding to mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatases, specifically the vaccinia H1-related phosphatase, VRK3 facilitates the dephosphorylation and inactivation of ERK within the nucleus, thereby influencing various transcriptional processes. The gene encoding VRK3 is located on human chromosome 19, which contains over 63 million bases and more than 1,400 genes, representing over 2% of the human genome. The widespread expression of VRK3 across human tissues underscores its importance in cellular functions and potential implications in various diseases, making VRK3 (C-8) antibody an essential tool for researchers studying kinase signaling pathways and their effects on cellular behavior.
