    SEE ALSO...

VCC-1 Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects VCC-1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). VCC-1 (B-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. VCC-1, also known as VEGF co-regulated chemokine 1, Dcip1, DMC (dendritic cell and monocyte chemokine-like protein), or CXCL17 (C-X-C motif chemokine 17), is a 119 amino acid secreted protein that plays a crucial role in angiogenesis and immune response. VCC-1 is primarily located in tissues such as skeletal muscle, trachea, lung, intestine, and stomach, where VCC-1 is involved in recruiting immature dendritic cells and non-activated blood monocytes into tissues, thereby facilitating innate immune response. VCC-1 is upregulated in duodenal mucosa of patients suffering from acute cholera and in breast tumors, highlighting VCC-1′s potential significance in pathological conditions. VCC-1′s encoding gene is mapped to human chromosome 19q13.2 and mouse chromosome 7 A3, making VCC-1 an important target for research in both human and murine models.

What blocking solution should I use with VCC-1 (B-3): sc-398842 monoclonal antibody for Western blot?

    Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. We recommend blocking with Blotto (either TBS Blotto A: sc-2333 or TBS Blotto B: sc-2335). Our Western blot protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting
