Datasheets
  • Vav3 Antibody (F-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgM κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 122-146 of Vav3 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of Vav3 of human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for Vav3 Antibody (F-11) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with Vav3 Antibody (F-11) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

Vav3 Antibody (F-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects Vav3 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Vav3 Antibody (F-11) is available in a non-conjugated form, providing flexibility for various experimental needs. Vav3 is a member of the Vav family of Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs), which play a crucial role in orchestrating signaling events following lymphocyte antigen receptor activation. One of the key aspects of Vav3 is its interaction with specific adaptor proteins, such as SLP76 and 3BP2, which are essential for downstream signaling pathways. Notably, Vav3 undergoes tyrosine phosphorylation in response to T cell receptor cross-linkage, leading to activation and subsequent engagement with these adaptor molecules. This interaction is vital for the regulation of gene transcription linked to serum response elements, distinguishing Vav3′s function from that of Vav1, which primarily influences interleukin-2 promoter activity. Additionally, Vav3 exhibits a cell cycle-dependent expression pattern, with transient upregulation during mitosis, suggesting involvement in cytokinesis. The ability of enforced Vav3 expression to induce multinucleate cell formation further underscores a significant role in cell division and maintenance of cellular integrity.
