    SEE ALSO...

USP45 Antibody (MA44) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects the USP45 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-USP45 antibody (MA44) is available as a non-conjugated format. USP45, also known as Ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 45, is a crucial enzyme in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which plays a significant role in regulating protein degradation and cellular homeostasis. This 819 amino acid protein is unique among ubiquitin-specific peptidases due to the presence of a UBP-type zinc finger domain that facilitates binding to ubiquitin, thereby enhancing deubiquitinating activity. USP45′s ability to remove ubiquitin from substrates is vital for controlling various cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, DNA repair, and response to stress. Notably, USP45 is predominantly expressed in skeletal muscle, spleen, and ovary, indicating potential involvement in tissue-specific functions. Alternative splicing of USP45 results in three distinct isoforms, which may have unique regulatory roles in cellular signaling pathways. With essential function in maintaining protein homeostasis, USP45 is a key player in cellular health and disease, making USP45 (MA44) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for researchers studying ubiquitin-mediated processes.

I am using USP45 (MA44): sc-130478 antibody for immunoprecipitation, how much antibody should I use?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. We recommend using 1–10 µl (i.e., 0.2–2 µg) of antibody with 1 ml of cell lysate. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration.
