    UNC5H3 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects UNC5H3 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). UNC5H3 (F-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. UNC5H3, also known as UNC5C, is a member of the UNC5 family of proteins, which function as transmembrane receptors for netrin-1, playing a pivotal role in axon guidance and neural cell migration. UNC5H3′s structure contains a death domain crucial for pro-apoptotic function; when cleaved by caspases, this domain facilitates programmed cell death, a vital process in maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing tumorigenesis. In the absence of netrin-1, UNC5H3 acts as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting anchorage-independent growth and invasion, highlighting UNC5H3′s significance in cancer biology. Expression of UNC5H3 is often down-regulated in various cancers, including colorectal, breast, ovarian, uterine, stomach, lung, and kidney cancers, indicating UNC5H3′s potential as a therapeutic target. UNC5H3 is essential for spinal accessory motor neuron development and mediates netrin-1′s repulsive action, serving as a critical stop signal for migratory cells during neural development.
