Ubiquitin Antibody (P4D1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody designed to detect the full-length Ubiquitin protein, encompassing amino acids 1-76 of bovine origin. Ubiquitin mouse monoclonal antibody (P4D1) recognizes Ubiquitin from mouse, rat, human, and Drosophila melanogaster sources across applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Beyond protein degradation, Ubiquitin also regulates signal transduction pathways through diverse polyubiquitin linkages, including Lysine 63 linkages, which are critical for non-proteolytic roles such as DNA repair and intracellular signaling. Ubiquitin modulates the stability of regulatory proteins such as IκB-α and p27, thereby influencing processes like inflammation, cell cycle progression, and DNA damage responses.
