TWEAK Antibody (MTW-1) is a rat monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TWEAK protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TWEAK antibody (MTW-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TWEAK, also known as Apo-3L, is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily, which plays a crucial role in mediating inflammation and regulating immune responses. TWEAK protein is primarily located on the cell surface as a type II transmembrane protein, where proteolytic processing releases a soluble homotrimeric form. TWEAK′s ability to exist in both membrane-bound and soluble forms allows for versatile signaling mechanisms that influence various cellular processes, including apoptosis and cell differentiation. TWEAK interaction with receptors, such as fibroblast growth factor-inducible 14 (Fn14), is essential for biological functions, including modulation of inflammatory responses and tissue remodeling. Anti-TWEAK antibody (MTW-1) enables researchers to gain valuable insights into TWEAK protein′s complex roles in health and disease.
