Datasheets
  • TWEAK Antibody (CARL-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ TWEAK antibody, cited in 2 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against hTWEAK/2PK-3 transfectant cells of human origin
  • recommended for detection of TWEAK of human origin by FCM
  • available conjugated to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • m-IgG3 BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for TWEAK Antibody (CARL-1). This reagent is now offered in a bundle with TWEAK Antibody (CARL-1) (see ordering information below).

SEE ALSO...

TWEAK Antibody (CARL-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects the TWEAK protein of human origin by flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-TWEAK antibody (CARL-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including phycoerythrin (PE) and fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), providing flexibility for different experimental needs. TWEAK, also known as Apo-3L, is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily, which plays a crucial role in mediating inflammation and regulating immune responses. TWEAK is primarily located on the cell surface as a type II transmembrane protein, where proteolytic processing releases a soluble homotrimeric form. TWEAK′s existence in both membrane-bound and soluble forms enables versatile signaling mechanisms that influence various cellular processes, including apoptosis and cell differentiation. Understanding TWEAK′s localization and processing helps elucidate its role in immune regulation and potential implications in inflammatory diseases.

How can TWEAK (CARL-1): sc-56248 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: jerojero
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-56248 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-56248 FITC).
