    SEE ALSO...

TTC4 Antibody (F-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects TTC4 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TTC4 antibody (F-8) is available as the non-conjugated form. TTC4, also known as tetratricopeptide repeat domain 4, is a 387 amino acid nucleoplasmic protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes by mediating protein-protein interactions through tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) motifs. These motifs consist of a degenerate 34 amino acid sequence that can form up to 16 tandem repeats, each adopting a helix-turn-helix structure that contributes to ligand binding specificity. TTC4 is primarily localized in the cytoplasm and translocates to the nucleus with MSL-1 during the G1 and S phases of the cell cycle, highlighting TTC4′s importance in cell cycle regulation. TTC4 interacts with several key proteins, including heat shock proteins HSP 90 and HSP 70, as well as the replication protein Cdc6, suggesting TTC4′s involvement in the progression of malignant melanoma. The gene encoding TTC4 is located on human chromosome 1, which spans approximately 260 million base pairs and comprises nearly 8% of the human genome, underscoring TTC4′s significance in various biological contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-377329 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
