Datasheets
  • TSHβ Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ TSHβ antibody, cited in 2 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 101-131 near the C-terminus of TSHβ of human origin
  • recommended for detection of TSHβ of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and canine, bovine and porcine
  • m-IgG3 BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for TSHβ Antibody (D-6) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with TSHβ Antibody (D-6) (see ordering information below).

SEE ALSO...

TSHβ Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects TSH beta of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TSH beta antibody (D-6) is available as the non-conjugated form. TSH beta plays a crucial role in the endocrine system as a component of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), which regulates thyroid gland function and metabolism. TSH is a glycoprotein that stimulates thyroid hormone release, influencing growth, development, and metabolism. TSH beta regulation occurs through thyroid hormones, particularly triiodothyronine (T3), and retinoid compounds, maintaining balanced thyroid hormone levels. TSH beta interacts with thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor (TSHR), which exists in multiple glycosylation states affecting activity. TSHR′s third cytoplasmic loop mediates intracellular signaling pathways, including inositol phosphate and cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) formation, demonstrating complex thyroid function regulation.
