TRP2 Antibody (B-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TRP2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TRP2 Antibody (B-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TRP2, also known as dopachrome tautomerase, plays a crucial role in the melanin biosynthesis pathway, which is essential for pigmentation in vertebrates. TRP2 is primarily located in the melanosomes of melanocytes, where TRP2 participates in the enzymatic conversion of dopachrome to 5,6-dihydroxyindole, a key step in the production of eumelanin and pheomelanin.
