TRP1 Antibody (TA99) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TRP1 in melanomas of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-TRP1 antibody (TA99) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TRP1 plays a crucial role in the melanin biosynthesis pathway, functioning as a melanogenic enzyme that contributes to the production of eumelanin and pheomelanin, the two primary types of melanin found in vertebrates.
