- CRISPR/Cas9 KO Plasmids consists of Tropomyosin α-specific 20 nt guide RNA sequences derived from the GeCKO (v2) library
- For CRISPR gene knockout, gRNA sequences direct the Cas9 protein to induce a site-specific double strand break (DSB) in the genomic DNA

- Gene knockdown or activation can be assayed using Tropomyosin α Antibody (F-6): sc-376541

- Tropomyosin α CRISPR/Cas9 Knockout (KO) Plasmid (m) consists of a pool of three plasmids each encoding the Cas9 nuclease and a Tropomyosin α-specific 20 nt guide RNA (gRNA) designed for maximum knockout efficiency
- gRNA sequences are derived from the GeCKO (v2) library and direct the Cas9 protein to induce a site-specific double strand break (DSB) in the genomic DNA
- **** NOTE: No corresponding HDR is available for this Knockout Plasmid. **** Please use sc-423481-KO-2 and sc-423481-HDR-2 if selection of cells using puromycin resistance is desired.
- Following transfection, gene knockout efficiency can be assayed by WB, IF or IHC using antibody: Tropomyosin α Antibody (F-6): sc-376541
