TREML2 Antibody (E-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TREML2 in mouse and rat samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TREML2, also known as C6orf76 or TLT2, is a 321 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein characterized by the presence of one immunoglobulin-like V-type domain. TREML2 is predominantly expressed in cultured B cells, as well as in T cell leukemia and monocyte leukemia, where TREML2 functions as a crucial cell surface receptor involved in both innate and adaptive immune responses. Anti-TREML2 antibody (E-12) modulates immune signaling pathways, which can influence the body′s response to pathogens and potentially impact the development of autoimmune diseases. The gene encoding TREML2 is located on human chromosome 6, a region rich in immunoglobulin variable domain-containing proteins and associated with various health conditions, including certain cancers and neurodegenerative disorders. TREML2 and its interactions with other immune-related proteins underscore its importance in maintaining immune homeostasis and its potential as a therapeutic target in immune-related diseases.
