Datasheets
  • TRAX Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ TRAX antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against amino acids 1-290 representing full length TRAX of human origin
  • recommended for detection of TRAX of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • TransCruz reagent for ChIP application (sc-271402 X, 200 µg/0.1 ml)
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for TRAX Antibody (B-10) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with TRAX Antibody (B-10) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

    SEE ALSO...

TRAX Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects TRAX protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TRAX antibody (B-10) is available as the non-conjugated form. TRAX, also known as translin-associated factor X or TSNAX, is a crucial nuclear protein that plays a significant role in cellular response to DNA damage. TRAX (B-10) antibody targets a protein primarily located in the nucleus, where TRAX interacts with translin, a DNA-binding protein essential for repairing chromosomal translocations. TRAX presence in the nucleus is vital for function in DNA double-stranded break repair and dendritic RNA processing, as TRAX facilitates recruitment of other proteins involved in these processes. TRAX contains an N-terminal bipartite nuclear localization signal (NLS) that aids in nuclear transport, as well as a leucine zipper domain critical for protein-protein interactions. When TRAX forms a complex with translin, TRAX can interact with protein kinase activator C1D, enhancing the complex′s ability to participate in DNA repair mechanisms. TRAX acts as a transcriptional regulator of GAP-43, a growth-associated protein implicated in axonal regeneration and cell proliferation, highlighting TRAX potential importance in neurodevelopment and recovery following injury.
