TRAPPC4 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TRAPPC4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TRAPPC4 antibody (C-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TRAPPC4, also known as trafficking protein particle complex 4, SBDN, TRS23, PTD009, CGI-104, and HSPC172, is a critical postsynaptic protein that plays a vital role in vesicular transport from endoplasmic reticulum to Golgi apparatus, localizing primarily in neurons. TRAPPC4 is part of the TRAPP complex, which is essential for intracellular trafficking and membrane fusion processes. Notably, TRAPPC4 contains a nonclassical PDZ domain that allows interaction with C-terminal EFYA motif of Syndecan-2, indicating potential involvement in dendritic spine morphogenesis and synaptic plasticity.
