    SEE ALSO...

TRAPPC2L Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TRAPPC2L protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-TRAPPC2L antibody (C-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TRAPPC2L, also known as HSPC126, is a 140 amino acid protein that belongs to the TRAPP small subunits family and the Sedlin subfamily. TRAPPC2L is primarily localized in the cytoplasm, endoplasmic reticulum, and Golgi apparatus, and is expressed in several tissues, including the testis, liver, bladder, lung, spleen, and brain. TRAPPC2L plays a crucial role in vesicular transport from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus, which is essential for maintaining cellular function and protein trafficking. TRAPPC2L is a member of the multisubunit transport protein particle (TRAPP) complex and interacts with other TRAPP components such as TRAPPC2, TRAPPC3, TRAPPC4, and TRAPPC6A. Notably, TRAPPC2L and TRAPPC2 genes are often found in pairs and exhibit overlapping expression patterns, highlighting their potential cooperative roles in cellular processes. TRAPPC2L exists as two alternatively spliced isoforms and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 16q24.3, a region associated with various genetic disorders, including Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome and Crohn′s disease.
