SEE ALSO...

TRAPPC10 Antibody (RR-18) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TRAPPC10 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TRAPPC10 antibody (RR-18) is available as a non-conjugated format. TRAPPC10, also known as TMEM1 (transmembrane protein 1), EHOC1 (epilepsy holoprosencephaly candidate 1 protein), or GT334, is a highly conserved 1,259 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in vesicular transport within cells. TRAPPC10 is localized to the cis-Golgi apparatus, where TRAPPC10 is integral to the transport process from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus, functioning as a key component of the multisubunit transport protein particle (TRAPP) complex. This localization maintains cellular homeostasis and ensures proper trafficking of proteins and lipids, which is essential for various cellular functions. Mutations in the gene encoding TRAPPC10 have been implicated in autoimmune polyglandular disease type 1 and Unverricht-Lundborg disease, an autosomal recessive form of progressive myoclonic epilepsy, highlighting TRAPPC10′s importance in both normal physiology and disease states.
