    SEE ALSO...

TRAP220 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects TRAP220 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TRAP220 plays a crucial role in transcription regulation by serving as a key component of the thyroid hormone receptor-associated protein (TRAP) complex, which mediates interaction between transcriptional activators and initiation factors. TRAP220 is primarily located in the nucleus, where TRAP220 facilitates hormone-induced transcriptional activation by binding to nuclear receptors, including thyroid hormone receptors and vitamin D receptors. Nuclear localization of TRAP220 allows precise regulation of gene expression in response to hormonal signals, impacting various physiological processes such as metabolism, development, and cellular differentiation. TRAP220 is widely expressed in tissues such as skeletal muscle, heart, and placenta, highlighting TRAP220′s importance in both developmental and metabolic pathways. Through interactions with other components of the TRAP complex, TRAP220 is integral to forming functional transcriptional machinery, making TRAP220 a significant target for studies related to gene regulation and endocrine signaling.
