    SEE ALSO...

TRABID Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects TRABID protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TRABID antibody (F-1) is available as the non-conjugated form. TRABID, also known as TRAF-binding domain-containing protein or ZRANB1 (zinc finger Ran-binding domain-containing protein 1), is a 708 amino acid protein predominantly located in the cytoplasm and nucleus, highlighting its crucial role in cellular signaling and regulation. TRABID (F-1) antibody recognizes a key player in the Wnt signaling pathway, functioning as a positive regulator by specifically cleaving ′Lys-63′-linked ubiquitin chains, which is essential for modulating various cellular processes, including cell proliferation and differentiation. The presence of an OTU domain in TRABID facilitates deubiquitinating activity, while three RanBP2-type zinc fingers enable specific interaction with ′Lys-63′-linked ubiquitin, underscoring the importance of structural features in maintaining cellular homeostasis. TRABID may influence tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) signaling, further emphasizing its significance in various signaling pathways. The gene encoding TRABID is located on chromosome 10, a region that encompasses over 1,200 genes and constitutes nearly 4.5% of the human genome, indicating the potential for diverse regulatory functions within this genomic landscape.
