SEE ALSO...

TOB2 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects TOB2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TOB2 antibody (B-4) is available as a non-conjugated format, providing researchers with a reliable tool for studying this important protein. TOB2 plays a crucial role in regulating cell cycle progression, particularly in the transition from G0/G1 phase to S phase, by interacting with the mammalian homologue of yeast Caf1. This function is vital for maintaining proper cellular proliferation and differentiation, which is especially significant in tissues such as skeletal muscle, thymus, and ovary where TOB2 is highly expressed. Additionally, TOB2 is implicated in the central nervous system, where TOB2 may contribute to the acquisition of motor skills. Understanding TOB2 dynamics and interactions can provide insights into various biological processes and potential therapeutic targets in diseases characterized by dysregulated cell growth.
