    SEE ALSO...

TMIGD2 Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects TMIGD2 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TMIGD2 antibody (H-5) is available as a non-conjugated antibody. TMIGD2, also known as transmembrane and immunoglobulin domain-containing protein 2, is a 282 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein characterized by one immunoglobulin-like domain and exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms. TMIGD2 plays a crucial role in cell signaling and immune response regulation, particularly in T cell activation and differentiation. The gene encoding TMIGD2 is located on human chromosome 19p13.3, a region known for high gene density and significant involvement in immune system functions, housing various immunoglobulin superfamily members. Understanding TMIGD2 function is vital, as TMIGD2 may contribute to the development of therapeutic strategies targeting immune-related diseases and conditions.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515546 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
