    SEE ALSO...

TMEM71 Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TMEM71 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TMEM71 (B-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TMEM71 protein, consisting of 191 amino acids, plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in membrane trafficking and protein sorting regulation, which are essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and function. Disruptions in these processes can lead to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancers, highlighting the importance of studying TMEM71 in both basic and clinical research. The gene encoding TMEM71 is located on human chromosome 8, a region associated with several genetic conditions, including certain leukemias and developmental disorders. Understanding TMEM71 function and interactions within cells can provide valuable insights into its role in health and disease, making anti-TMEM71 antibody (B-9) an important tool for researchers investigating these pathways.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-376631 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
