    SEE ALSO...

TMEM102 Antibody (F-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TMEM102 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TMEM102 (F-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TMEM102 protein, consisting of 508 amino acids, plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in membrane trafficking and endosomal function regulation. Proper endosomal function is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating misfolded protein degradation, which can otherwise lead to cellular stress and contribute to neurodegenerative diseases. TMEM102 gene is located on human chromosome 17, a region significant for association with key tumor suppressor genes like p53 and BRCA1 and involvement in various genetic disorders. TMEM102 presence in endosomal compartments highlights potential roles in disease pathogenesis linked to endosomal dysfunction, making TMEM102 a valuable target for research in both cancer biology and neurodegenerative conditions.
