    SEE ALSO...

TLX2 Antibody (D-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TLX2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TLX2 (D-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. T-cell leukemia homeobox protein 2 (TLX2), also known as homeobox protein Hox-11L1, neural crest homeobox protein, or ENX, is a 284 amino acid member of the TLX homeobox family, which plays a critical role in the development of the enteric nervous system. TLX2 is primarily localized in the nucleus, where TLX2 is involved in regulating gene expression essential for the proliferation and differentiation of neural crest-derived tissues. Notably, TLX2′s expression is restricted to tissues derived from neural crest cells, indicating TLX2′s importance in the development of the peripheral nervous system. Mutations in the gene encoding TLX2 have been linked to congenital anomalies resembling neuronal intestinal dysplasia in humans, a rare condition characterized by hyperplasia of the submucosal plexus and increased acetylcholinesterase activity in nerve fibers surrounding submucosal blood vessels. This highlights TLX2′s significance in both normal development and disease pathology, making anti-TLX2 antibody (D-12) a valuable tool for researchers studying neural crest development and related disorders.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514077 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
