SEE ALSO...

TLR8 Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects TLR8 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TLR8 (D-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TLR8 plays a crucial role in the innate immune system by recognizing viral RNA, which is essential for initiating an immune response against viral infections. Located primarily in lung tissue and peripheral blood leukocytes, TLR8 is part of a subfamily of Toll-like receptors that includes TLR7 and TLR9, all of which are involved in activating the NFκB signaling pathway. This pathway is vital for the transcription of pro-inflammatory cytokines, thereby enhancing the immune response. The ability of TLR8 to detect viral components and trigger immune signaling underscores its importance in host defense mechanisms, making anti-TLR8 antibody (D-8) a valuable tool for researchers studying immune responses and potential therapeutic targets in viral infections.

Hello, It is described that the band of the TLR8 appears around 120 KDa. So, what are the 2 bands between 55KDa and 90KDa that appear in the examples, which in one case is described as being TLR8 too?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from WBI was able to detect TLR8 in 20 different rabbit tissues, including sperm, although as it shows in the datasheet I also obtained bands in non-specific sizes. The cleanest membranes were obtained when using rabbit semen samples. It also worked with bovine semen samples. Conditions: 1:300-1:450, 3% Milk/TBS-T, 1h.
