    SEE ALSO...

TLK1 Antibody (G-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TLK1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TLK1 (G-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Tousled-like kinases, TLK1 and TLK2, are essential serine/threonine kinases that play a critical role in cell cycle regulation and organ morphogenesis, with their activity peaking during the S phase of the cell cycle. TLK1 is predominantly localized in the nucleus, where TLK1 is involved in the phosphorylation of key substrates that facilitate DNA replication and repair processes. This nuclear localization is crucial as TLK1 effectively regulates the phosphorylation of proteins involved in chromatin remodeling and DNA damage response, thereby ensuring genomic stability and proper cellular function. Additionally, TLK1 exhibits a tendency to dimerize through interactions between coiled-coil regions, which enhances enzymatic activity and regulatory functions. TLK1 expression is particularly high in mouse testis, especially in pachytene spermatocytes and round spermatids, highlighting TLK1′s significant role in spermatogenesis and the development of multicellular organisms.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393515 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
