    SEE ALSO...

Tip41 Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Tip41 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Tip41 antibody (B-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Tip41 protein, also known as TOR signaling pathway regulator-like (S. cerevisiae), TIPRL, or putative MAPK-activating protein PM10, is a 272 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways. Tip41 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms, which allows for functional diversity in regulatory roles. Tip41 becomes phosphorylated in response to DNA damage, suggesting involvement in cellular stress responses and regulation of the ATM/ATR signaling pathway, which is essential for maintaining genomic stability during DNA replication and repair. The gene encoding Tip41 is located on human chromosome 1q24.2 and mouse chromosome 1 H2.3, highlighting evolutionary conservation and significance across species. Chromosome 1 is the largest human chromosome, encompassing approximately 260 million base pairs and containing around 3,000 genes, many of which are implicated in various diseases, including Stickler syndrome, Parkinson′s disease, and Gaucher disease. Tip41′s ability to interact with key regulatory proteins such as PP2A-Cα/β, PPX, and PP6 further underscores importance in cellular signaling and potential implications in therapeutic strategies targeting these pathways.
