SEE ALSO...

Tim8A Antibody (T-40) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Tim8A protein in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Tim8A antibody (T-40) is available in non-conjugated form. Tim8A protein functions critically in mitochondrial processes, specifically importing nuclear-encoded precursor proteins into mitochondria to maintain integrity and function. Tim8A (T-40) monoclonal antibody recognizes a protein essential for cellular energy production and metabolic pathway regulation. Tim8A belongs to the mitochondrial Tim protein family, facilitating protein translocation across mitochondrial inner membranes via Tim23 and Tim22 complexes. Tim8A (T-40) antibody targets a protein whose mutations link to deafness dystonia syndrome, causing severe neurological defects. Tim8A shows high expression in fetal and adult brain tissue, indicating significant involvement in neural function and development.
