TIEG2 Antibody (32) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TIEG2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-TIEG2 antibody (32) is available as the non-conjugated format. TIEG2, a member of the Krüppel-like zinc finger transcription factor family, plays a crucial role in regulating cellular growth and differentiation, particularly in response to transforming growth factor beta (TGFβ). TIEG2 is predominantly located in the nucleus, where TIEG2 influences gene expression and cellular processes. Nuclear localization is vital for function as a transcription factor, allowing TIEG2 to interact with specific DNA sequences and modulate transcription of target genes involved in cell cycle regulation and apoptosis. TIEG2 is expressed in fetal liver and has been shown to inhibit cellular proliferation when overexpressed in cultured epithelial cells, highlighting potential role in developmental processes and tissue homeostasis. TIEG2 expression is upregulated by TGFβ1 and serum deprivation, indicating involvement in cellular responses to environmental changes. With detection capabilities across multiple species and applications, TIEG2 (32) monoclonal antibody serves as an essential tool for researchers studying molecular mechanisms underlying cell growth and differentiation.
