Tiam2 Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects Tiam2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Tiam2 antibody (C-5) is available as the non-conjugated form. T-cell lymphoma invasion and metastasis 2 (Tiam2) plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in regulating the Rho family of GTPases, which are essential for various cellular processes, including cell migration, adhesion, and cytoskeletal dynamics. Tiam2 is predominantly expressed in cerebrum, cerebellum, and testis, where Tiam2 is involved in neuronal development and function. Notably, Tiam2 interacts with Rac1, a member of the Rho family, facilitating GDP exchange for GTP, which activates Rac1 and promotes actin cytoskeletal rearrangements.
