    SEE ALSO...

Tiam2 Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects Tiam2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Tiam2 antibody (C-5) is available as the non-conjugated form. T-cell lymphoma invasion and metastasis 2 (Tiam2) plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in regulating the Rho family of GTPases, which are essential for various cellular processes, including cell migration, adhesion, and cytoskeletal dynamics. Tiam2 is predominantly expressed in cerebrum, cerebellum, and testis, where Tiam2 is involved in neuronal development and function. Notably, Tiam2 interacts with Rac1, a member of the Rho family, facilitating GDP exchange for GTP, which activates Rac1 and promotes actin cytoskeletal rearrangements. This interaction is vital for processes such as cell motility and invasion, making Tiam2 an important player in both normal physiological functions and pathological conditions, including cancer metastasis. Tiam2 is encoded by a 4.4 kb transcript, which is a longer form of the 3.3 kb mRNA, and both variants share homology with the Dbl-homologous and Pleckstrin-homologous regions of Tiam1, further underscoring Tiam2′s significance in cellular signaling networks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from didn't work for my samplesI got a sample of this antibody to try on bovine protein samples. It didn't detect anything on the blot. Must be not cross reactive with bovine.
