    SEE ALSO...

Thrombin API Antibody (D-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Thrombin API protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Thrombin API antibody (D-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Thrombin API (D-9) antibody recognizes a protein that plays a crucial role in the hemostatic process, particularly in converting fibrinogen to fibrin, which is essential for blood clot formation. This conversion prevents excessive bleeding following tissue injury by leading to clot stabilization and promoting platelet aggregation. Thrombin API (D-9) monoclonal antibody targets a protein involved in activating several coagulation factors, including Factors V, VII, VIII, and XIII, which further amplify the coagulation cascade. Precise regulation of Thrombin activity is critical, as dysregulation can lead to thrombotic disorders or excessive bleeding. Understanding Thrombin API function and interactions within the coagulation cascade is essential for developing therapeutic strategies for various cardiovascular diseases and conditions related to hemostasis.
