    SEE ALSO...

THNSL2 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects THNSL2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). THNSL2 (B-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. THNSL2, also known as threonine synthase-like 2 or TSH2, is a 484 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in amino acid metabolism, particularly in threonine catabolism, an essential amino acid obtained through diet. THNSL2 utilizes pyridoxal phosphate as a cofactor and participates in O-phospho-threonine degradation to produce alpha-ketobutyrate, ammonia, and phosphate, highlighting THNSL2′s importance in maintaining amino acid homeostasis and energy production within cells. THNSL2 gene is located on human chromosome 2p11.2, which contains over 1,400 genes and is associated with various genetic disorders. Multiple alternatively spliced isoforms of THNSL2 emphasize functional diversity and potential regulatory roles in metabolic pathways.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390395 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
