TFIP11 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TFIP11 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TFIP11 (C-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TFIP11, also known as tuftelin-interacting protein 11, NTR1, TIP39, STIP, or hNtr1, is an 837 amino acid protein that belongs to the TFIP11/STIP family and is characterized by localization in both nucleus and cytoplasm. TFIP11 contains a G-patch domain, a highly conserved motif found in many RNA-processing proteins, which underscores potential role in RNA metabolism. As a novel splicing factor, TFIP11 is involved in spliceosome disassembly, acting as a subnuclear storage compartment for splicing components, which is crucial for gene expression regulation. Additionally, TFIP11 plays a significant role in ameloblast and odontoblast differentiation, contributing to enamel extracellular matrix formation, highlighting importance in dental development. Two isoforms of TFIP11 exist due to alternative splicing events, which may further diversify functional roles in cellular processes.
