    SEE ALSO...

TFIIH p44 Antibody (GTF2F6A10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TFIIH p44 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-TFIIH p44 antibody (GTF2F6A10) is available as a non-conjugated format. TFIIH p44 plays a crucial role in transcription and DNA repair mechanisms, functioning as part of the larger TFIIH complex, which is essential for DNA unwinding during transcription and nucleotide excision repair. TFIIH p44 is located in the nucleus, where TFIIH p44 interacts with other transcription factors and DNA repair proteins, facilitating RNA polymerase II recruitment to gene promoter regions. Proper functioning of TFIIH p44 is vital, as defects can lead to transcriptional dysregulation and increased susceptibility to DNA damage, which are implicated in various diseases, including cancer. TFIIH complex, which includes additional subunits such as p89 and p80, exhibits ATP-dependent helicase activity, underscoring TFIIH p44′s importance in maintaining genomic stability and regulating gene expression.

I am using TFIIH p44 (GTF2F6A10): sc-81402 antibody for immunoprecipitation, how much antibody should I use?

    Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. We recommend using 1–10 µl (i.e., 0.2–2 µg) of antibody with 1 ml of cell lysate. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunoprecipitation protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoprecipitation-western-blots
