TBL1X Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TBL1X of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TBL1X (F-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TBL1X, also known as transducin β-like 1, plays a critical role in gene expression regulation by participating in ubiquitin/19S proteasome complex recruitment to nuclear receptor-regulated transcription units. This function maintains cellular homeostasis and regulates various biological processes, including development and metabolism. TBL1X functions as part of the N-CoR repressor complex, which includes N-CoR1, N-CoR2, HDAC3, TBL1R, CORO2A, and GPS2, while also operating within the E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. TBL1X interacts with histones H2B, H3a, and H4, highlighting TBL1X′s importance in chromatin remodeling and transcriptional regulation. Located on chromosome Xp22.3, TBL1X is crucial for nuclear receptor-mediated transcription activation, and TBL1X defects can lead to X-linked disorders such as ocular albinism with late-onset sensorineural deafness. The relationship between TBL1X and TBL1Y homolog on the Y chromosome emphasizes these proteins′ significance in sex-linked genetic functions.
