TBC1D19 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects TBC1D19 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TBC1D19 (E-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TBC1D19 protein, consisting of 526 amino acids, features a Rab-GAP TBC domain, which is crucial for its role as a GTPase-activating protein for Rab family proteins. This function is significant because Rab proteins are essential regulators of intracellular vesicle trafficking, impacting processes such as membrane transport, organelle dynamics, and cell signaling. The gene encoding TBC1D19 is located on human chromosome 4p15.2, which spans 178,915 bases and is home to nearly 900 genes, including those associated with various genetic disorders. Understanding the role of TBC1D19 in vesicle trafficking can provide insights into cellular processes and potential implications in diseases where these pathways are disrupted.
