    SEE ALSO...

TARC Antibody (AB98) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TARC protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TARC antibody (AB98) is available as the non-conjugated format. TARC, or thymus and activation-regulated chemokine, plays a crucial role in the immune system by facilitating T cell migration to sites of inflammation and infection. TARC monoclonal antibody (AB98) recognizes a chemokine primarily expressed in the thymus and spleen, where TARC is involved in regulating T helper type 2 polarized cells through interaction with C-C chemokine receptor CCR4. TARC guides lymphocytes in distinguishing between systemic and intestinal immune responses, thereby influencing the overall immune landscape. TARC′s interaction with CCR4 is vital for recognition of skin vasculature by circulating T cells, essential for effective immune surveillance and response. TARC′s ability to direct immune cells to specific tissues underscores TARC′s significance in both normal immune function and in the pathogenesis of various inflammatory conditions.
