    SEE ALSO...

TARBP1 Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects TARBP1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TARBP1 antibody (G-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TARBP1, also known as TAR RNA-binding protein 1, plays a crucial role in regulating HIV-1 gene expression by binding to the loop region of TAR RNA during HIV-1 infection, a region also recognized by RNA polymerase II. This interaction is significant because TARBP1 facilitates the disengagement of RNA polymerase II from TAR RNA, thereby influencing the transcriptional activity of the virus. Additionally, TARBP1 is part of a complex network involving other proteins such as TRBP2, which further modulates the viral life cycle and host responses. Understanding TARBP1 function is essential for elucidating the mechanisms of HIV-1 pathogenesis and may provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for antiviral strategies.
