TAF9A/B Antibody (G-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TAF9A/B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TAF9A/B (G-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TAF9A/B plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation of protein-coding genes, as TAF9A/B functions as a vital component of the TFIID complex, which is essential for preinitiation complex assembly at the TATA promoter element. This complex is necessary for RNA polymerase II recruitment, thereby facilitating transcription. TAF9A, also known as TAF9A or TAF II p32, is a 264 amino acid nuclear protein that, like TAF9B, is indispensable for cell viability and participates in transcriptional activation through interactions with key regulatory proteins such as TP53/p53.
