    TAF II p105 Antibody (TAFAD26A) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TAF II p105 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-TAF II p105 antibody (TAFAD26A) is available as a non-conjugated format. TAF II p105, also known as TAF4B, is a crucial component of the TFIID complex, which is essential for the assembly of the preinitiation complex during transcription. TAF II p105 is primarily expressed in B cells and ovarian granulosa cells, where TAF II p105 plays a significant role in regulating gene expression. TAF II p105 interacts with the transcription factor OCBA/POU2AF1 to enhance B cell-specific octamer-dependent transcription, thereby influencing immune responses. TAF II p105 is vital for coactivating NF-kappaB, a key transcription factor involved in the regulation of anti-apoptotic genes such as TNFAIP3, which are critical for cell survival and proliferation. TAF II p105′s C-terminal histone-fold domain allows formation of heterodimers with TAF12/TAF II p20, facilitating the formation of transcriptional activating complexes. TAF II p105 is localized in the nucleus, with export to the cytoplasm occurring through a CRM1-independent pathway, highlighting TAF II p105′s importance in maintaining proper cellular function. Alternative splicing results in two isoforms of TAF II p105, further diversifying TAF II p105′s functional roles in transcriptional regulation.
