    SUC1 Antibody (AA10.2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SUC1 protein of Schizosaccharomyces pombe origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). SUC1 (AA10.2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SUC1, a member of the CKS family, serves as a crucial cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) subunit, specifically interacting with CDK1 to facilitate the formation of CDK1 complexes essential for cell cycle regulation. SUC1′s function lies in binding to the catalytic subunit of cyclin-dependent kinase (cdc2), which is vital for the progression of both mitotic and meiotic nuclear divisions. In the presence of zinc, SUC1 can form a homodimer, which may influence stability and function. Mutations in SUC1 have been shown to cause significant delays in cell division, and deletion of SUC1 is lethal, resulting in cells that are unable to progress through the cell cycle and exhibit impaired growth. This highlights SUC1′s critical involvement in maintaining cellular proliferation and regulatory role in the complex interactions necessary for cell cycle control.
