STK33 Antibody (G-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects STK33 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). STK33 (G-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. STK33, also known as serine/threonine kinase 33, is a 514 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways by phosphorylating serine and threonine residues, which is vital for regulating numerous cellular functions such as cell division, apoptosis, and homeostasis. STK33 is predominantly expressed in the testis, lung, retina, and developing fetal organs, including the brain, heart, and spinal cord, indicating its importance in developmental processes and reproductive biology. STK33 is part of the calcium/calmodulin-dependent kinase subfamily, which is essential for various physiological responses. Notably, the gene encoding STK33 is located on chromosome 11, a region linked to several genetic disorders, including Long QT syndrome and various malignancies, highlighting the potential implications of STK33 in both health and disease.
